I went to a community college with an IBM 370 that used punch cards. When they got rid of the mainframe they had punch cards left over that they gave out to students to write notes on them or study cards.

The IBM PC/XT replaced the Mainframe on a Novell Network using DOS programs.




De Anza had a 370 in the early 80s, but I don't know what replaced it.
