Aside from the aforementioned aggressive tactics of Medium, the reading experience is degraded by Medium's insistence of claiming a disproportionate amount of screen real estate for themselves. Scrolling between an oversized header and footer that promotes Medium is a miserable reading experience. Kudos to ElementaryOS.
