If GPS can be spoofed by Pokemon Go hackers this seems like a dumb thing to base anything important on like insurance being active or not. What the fuck?



From user perspective: What are the odds that somebody is going to follow you when you leave your home country and do targeted GPS spoofing specifically for you while causing some kind of accident/harm to you?

From Revolut perspective: insurance theoretically could be abused but i doubt they haven't calculated the risks as it would mean losing money although i don't see how this is different than me getting travel insurance online and just providing some travel info that from X to Y i need it.
