Oh, most definitely. You can go to tesla.com right now and configure your very own Model 3 with the "Full Self-Driving Capability" option for $6,000, and they've been selling that option for years.


Wow.

Seems crazy that anyone would pay for that now.

Personally I think it's a ridiculous idea that it could work well enough to be on the road before current cars are EOL, but even if you did think it was possible, then why not wait until it is an actual reality and buy it later?

I mean, it's not like Tesla will refuse to take your money to sell you the option later anyway.
