It's a nice idea but you don't need to reinvent an OS to achieve most of these concepts. In fact, you can do almost all of these things today on Linux using i3 + rofi.
Actually, i3 is one of the main reasons I use Ubuntu on my daily basis (the other one is apt). As far as known there are other applications similiar to i3 for MacOS, but they are not as good as i3. So sad.
