It is quite clear that the old media narrative has been shattered by the internet. If anything is capable of reassembling this fractured state, I am honestly a bit fearful of what that might be. AI that entirely fabricates a reality that calms people? AR that curates a user's perception to harmonize with their mental and emotional state? Let's be honest there are so many different ways of looking at the world available for perusal on the internet, that establishing "truth" is extremely difficult. I believe that what I know about the world rings true, but so does everyone else.
