There have been some small patches. It is being (going to be) included and maintained as part of the Eclipse Cyclone DDS project https://projects.eclipse.org/proposals/eclipse-cyclone-dds because it is needed for the C99 implementation of the IDL compiler.

I assume both were posted because, quoting the pcpp repo documentation: "pcpp passes a modified edition of the mcpp unit test suite".
