Ask HN: How to keep up with all the great content out there?
2 points by _qare on Feb 14, 2019 | hide | past | favorite
I have 4 books still inside their amazon package that I haven't even opened yet, and a spreadsheet that lists the books I want to read with about 70 items in it. I have over 100 tabs opened in firefox right now, mostly great articles and the reddit/HN comments associated with them, along with several hours of video to watch. I have several bookmarks categories filled with research papers saved over the last few months.

I am not just hoarding data I don't think. I spend a lot of time going through all this and I enjoy it a lot. But my backlog of things to consume feels like a bottomless pit.

Are there any methods out there to consume content more efficiently? I already watch my video sped up, what can I do to read and understand more efficiently? Surely there has to be a studying optimization algorithm
