One of the main points of the boycott is that the Black community was targeted through misinformation campaigns with the goal of supporting voter suppression. That's how they were targeted.

That wouldn't be uncomfortable questions at all for the NAACP.


It absolutely would be: why were black people ready to believe such negative narratives about their homeland?

The narratives black people were targeted by are untrue memes that play to their racial fantasies.

Admitting that’s how the black community was compromised — that they were racists against their home — would be extremely uncomfortable for the NAACP.
