Sure, except the 'trashcan' Pro doesn't have room in it for anything either, it was also designed to daisychain drives etc. via TB. My very elderly 'cheesegrater' Pro of course does have lots of room for 3.5in drives and PCIe cards, but I have wrung about as much as I can out of it, so the new Mini has some appeal. I am skeptical that the new-new Pro of 2019 (assuming it materializes) will be designed with extensibility in mind...
It was a sarcastic attempt to point out that scattering the components of a computer into 3 or 4 units with separate power chords is an inferior design to the standard desktops we’re used to. I want a Mac desktop for under $3,000 that doesn’t require multiple accessories plugged in to behave like a desktop.
