Bit off topic but recently I have been reading/watching a lot from Jaron Lanier.

Lanier used to be a FOSS advocate but has now taken the position that his previous support, and the opinions of RMS, are wrong.

Whether you agree or not, Lanier is a smart guy and an eloquent speaker and certainly worth listening to.
