They're supply chain jokes.

1. This is an exaggeration but the idea is that they have nothing to do because no one is buying or using them anymore (since the Intel vulnerabilities were uncovered).

2. A platform is a kind of software. A shelf is a kind of platform (different definition). Before items such as Intel CPUs are sold, they sit in warehouses for a while. Intel is not good for running any software platform so the best platform for them is a shelf... Also alludes to the fact that no one is buying them and that no one should buy them. (Also exaggerations).




Do you have any numbers on it? I actually haven't read anything about people and companies stopped buying Intel CPUs.
