The UK isn’t exactly metric. Perhaps imperial measurements like Brexit will die out.
So many measurements are daft units: road distances, trousers, the nutty papers still use Fahrenheit.
Dry goods are in 450g units, and milk is sold by pint in ml.
No one is truly metric. Even australia, the only country I know that does cm for screen sizes, still uses inches for car wheels just like everyone else.
