Oh? Where did "free" get lost?


Great, a post about open source which requires proprietary software (flash) to view it⸮​ Why not just link to a PDF file with slides?

With other video formats on the horizon it probably won't be too much longer before reliance upon proprietary video codecs is a thing of the past.


Cause it is on slideshare, and has audio.


It is only Free Software proponents that advocate for a world without proprietary software, which will never happen.

Until HTML5 becomes more mainstream (e.g. IE9 released and with good market-share), Flash is the best option you have for audio/video.
