Nothing has changed. For something this safety critical, you want the software engineering quality of Boeing, NASA, etc. This type of mistake is pretty inexcusable.

Even more egregious that the governor, Doug Ducey, was happy to issue executive orders to waive any safety oversight to allow Uber to put the public at risk in the first place.[0]
