The JS version loads 4times slower, despite only needing 600kb more.
Goes to show how much effect the large number of requests have.

For perspective that's approx. a quarter of the size of the original DooM. And it's probably minified. And it does little more than fetching info from a couple data sources, formatting and showing it.
