damn ... so the guy is going to jail based just on the data obtained from the website?

What if the "match" is not correct?

This should scare a lot of people away from these family tree websites. One day you might have FBI knocking on your door for being a close match to some killer somewhere.

The article describes that they found him through the database, and obtained a DNA sample from him to match to the evidence material.
