The world population continues to shift toward a meat-filled American diet, and it would be catastrophic to meet the whole world's demand with old-fashioned farms where animals have outdoor space to roam and aren't loaded up with steroids and antibiotics, let alone the ecological costs of keeping the useless males alive.
