I can't understand the blindness of the Tesla/Elon fanboys in that thread; the comments on that thread are so defensive of Tesla and still show little concern for safety. Despite fairly damning video evidence, a fatality, many reports of accidents and near accidents...

People have a lot invested in Tesla-- sometimes emotionally, sometimes literally. It is difficult to be objective in that case.
