Can't you download other browsers in iOS? In any event, it may not be relevant if most iOS users don't bother.

Thanks for replying! (I don't own an iOS device, so please bear this in mind before further dowloading, dear fellow HNers.) If all browsers render the same way, what is the point of downloading Chrome or Firefox, just syncing? Thanks again.

Pretty much. Different UI and features but all the same rendering engine.
