The goal of affirmative action in general is to make a more welcoming environment. When the status quo is disrespectful, making the argument to perpetuate the status quo is making the argument to disrespect.
sure, of course I agree that if cultural impacts or discrimination are the cause of these discrepancies, then perpetuating that is disrespectful. However, if biological differences cause them then affirmative action is disrespectful of those differences.
