I teach the Boston "Big Dig" as it ties the Lindy Effect to schedule estimation. Fred Brooks was knocking on the door of this with the Mythical Man Month: adding developers to a late project only makes it later. But Lindy Effect would say that late projects in and of themselves make themselves later.

Same difference, I guess.
