Looks like Apple only captured 33 and 25% of the market each year, respectively- not 66 and 50%, as I thought before. In which case I think the author should at least mention the fact that Apple's picking up a lot of their competitor's customers YoY as well- that's hardly a bad thing. Maybe the Chinese market simply has less brand loyalty.
