A better idea would be to look for disagreements. Given a news article or claim, are there any sources out there which disagree? Then the user could browse both claims and decide for himself.
Counterargument to that is the whole "teach the controversy" dispute. Evolution is the only scientifically accepted theory, there are sources which disagree but placing eg Intelligent Design on the same level as Evolution is disingenuous.
