I used to laugh reading about politics in Abraham Lincoln's time: distribution of news was, at best, iffy and journalists made up stories to suit their political/social viewpoint. Remarkably like today. The Internet is indeed wondrous. Thanks to the trolls, we're back to where we were in 1860 again.
