It's a cool little device, and I love Pico8, but I find the keyboard they chose doesn't make for a great controller. If they make a version two I hope they find a way to integrate something better.

I have a PocketCHIP, and it's awesome, but the game controls are terrible unfortunately.

I also have a few PocketCHIP's, and despised the keyboard until I 3d-printed my own. Now its a lot more usable.

(But still not as great as my Pandora..)

Would you mind sharing how you improved the keyboard?

Find one you like! :) I chose this:

Read this amazing thread:

(It gets better towards the end..)

I actually ordered one of those a couple of hours ago :)

I tried ordering one before but the 3D printer operator said the design was unprintable.

Does it make the device easier to use? Is it comfortable to type and play on now?

Its very much a more usable device with keys now .. I honestly think that NextThing should get behind this community effort and just start making PocketCHIP's with cases based on these designs. Its a very different instrument ...

Anyway, good luck! :)
