On the one hand, I have this depressing vision of the future where a non-technical micromanager is imploring me to 'code smaller' because a tool the suits are paying $1250 / month for told them to.

On the other hand, the irony of being told what to do by a tool coded by some 'out-of-touch know-it-all tech people' is not lost on me - some of my work has surely been used to inflict this sort of micromanagement on others.




Makes me wonder what qualifies a micromanager for micromanagement.
