I've been thinking for a while about starting my own mostly tech-related blog (tech reviews/rants/howto's/etc).

While I doubt it will end up being a massive success, I would like end up getting paid if it is, and I would feel a bit funny about putting articles up for free on someone's platform and them ending up getting paid for my work.

What in people's opinion is the best platform to start such a site?
