Not so sure about a Raspberry Pi, it'd probably just be a novelty there, considering how slow the Pi is running Chromium and the like. (Though the Pi 3 might be able to handle it better).

Chromebooks on the other hand, sound like a great idea.

That's what I thought, but it runs quite well on a RPi2.

Extensions working well too, at least as many as I have tried.
