Maybe its just me, but it sounds like the OP is setting himself up for profound disappointment even (and perhaps especially) if successful.
All that time and energy focused on becoming an employee of that one company, Google, will create enormous expectations which are likely to be crushed by reality when the OP comes to the realization that, yes, even Google is just another place to work for a living. Does anyone who actually work there think otherwise?
