Inspired by Cameron Kaiser's (and others) ongoing work to keep Gopher alive, I spent a good few months this year writing a new Windows client for it:

Unfortunately real life has got in the way, and I've not found time to release it yet.




Not sure how you'd visit gopher sites in Windows. Add the Overbite Firefox plugin available at Floodgap, I suppose. On Unix/Linux "forg" is really nice on the GUI side, and lynx is your best bet at the CLI. Although you'll find the original gopher client in a lot of repos too - all derivatives of Debian/Ubuntu and FreeBSD, at least.

By using a windows Gopher client. There are several, but mostly outdated. Which is why I have written a new one. I guess you didn't check the screenshot I posted.
