Having worked in several divergent fields as a Proposal Writer (aka Team Leader with Zero Authority) - health care, finance, and insurance - nearly none of these archetypes are exclusive to engineering or the tech sector. I think they are reasonable break-downs of classification as presented (Hermit, Nostalgia, Trend Chaser, and Smarty) which can be useful to consider in pretty much any professional, team environment.
