Thanks for this post. We want to add support for Postgres in our product https://redfly.ai

Does Postgres support anything like sql server change tracking? This does not require the creation of extra tables to know the history in detail which causes high disk I/o in resource constrained environments.

Another question - does Postgres support anything like the sql server timestamp column?

Thanks for this post. Any information in this area is helpful as it is hard to find.

We are currently in the Alchemist Accelerator trying to find companies who use some relational database because we help you generate a backend from it.

This backend auto-integrates with caching, so no more manual cache management. It also helps update search indexes as data changes - but this requires some coding and we want to work with design partners to productionize that part of it.

The output is micro services which you can call to access your backend (that is the dream). Right now you get code, but we manually create the micro service for you (working towards automating that in the future)

We currently support SQL Server. We would love to know what the majority of companies use (it seems to be Postgres?)

We are currently signing LOIs with companies if they can use the product today or later when we add support for your database.

Please feel free to reach out.

We are a new startup who have developed an easy-code rapid application development platform that currently supports SQL Server, .NET Core, and Azure. This can also be used to create on-premises software. The minimum requirement is that you are using or plan to use SQL Server as your relational database. You can build new apps or upgrade existing apps .

The startup Nautilus Research has developed a product which allows non-technical founders to build scalable apps from anywhere including offshore without compromising on scalability or performance. Built over decades of research, this is the founder's life's work.

Please feel free to contact them at ceo@nautilus2k.com from your corporate email address to find out how they can help you.
