It's a game changer

This essai reminds me of someone a few years back telling me that Artists and Startups where very similar. - "What ?" I replied confused. - "Yes ! We work for nothing, crafting a unique skills and hoping to find Product Market Fit. Of either an original Software or an special Sculpture. The economic is for both an economic of big incertinity.

Galleries bet on a few Artists among many just like YCombinator bets on a few startups every years hoping for the best.

lukehollis, it's true 3D gales are so long-and-didfucult to build. Maybe you get in xontact with me : I'm testing a tool that generate 3D Orlds easilly and fast. Mytoo is called free-visit thierry.milard@gmail.com

https://free-visit.net

- I walk thus I feel happy, at least happier. - I feel happier this I feel better to think.

This is all

I am 56 yo. Well, we know how people are when technical people like me get more mature. They could be afraid the guy might not be 'Up to date'... My personnal project I do on WE ( https://free-visit.net ) always gets me a nice technical interview and the consulting job. https://free-visit.net/fr/

In a way my personnal website sells myself.

Thank you - I am in my early fifties and have “that book” still not written and “those oss projects” sitting unloved. That “up to date” comment rings true and is just the right motivation to get things sorted

Plus I now want to make a virtual tour of some of my favourite places :-)

Ha ha ! When you want if you are in Europe (on WE)

Exactly, mention your age and everyone assumes you're a COBOL, Turbo pascal or whatever programmer.

Yes a bit true.

And also here at yc : - Younger you are, More likelyhood you will believe a guy in his 50s comes from the dinausaurus times. :-)

Reminds me a little of Twain: “When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.”

Very good one I did not know ! :-)) Everything is in reading the classics

Yes, I have been there in march. I loved it. I think Moldova is changing. For the good.

Nice. But transition between 360-Photos is important in this Area.

I have also developped a personnal solution to do "Immersive visits". The visual quality is not as good as your exemple(Nefertity) but I feel immersion is very good.

- My website :https://free-visit.net

- Example of an immersive visit : https://free-visit.net/fr/demo01

I would love to have your feedback.

Thierry

Everyone I believe... - Light data for Rendering and - fast 3D Reconstruction ======> Big winner.

So many laboratories and software dev have given a shot at this. None have yet won.

Success often lies in small (but important ) details...

Very nice graphics and design. I wonder who would ne the client for such a 3D game. And how much (about) it cost to build such a game.

...and getting stuck.
