Slow at first. Then fast. Then exponential.

Question is: what part of this growth curve are we on now?

The wobbly one where we try to shoehorn tech into use cases until it sort of fits.

Well - last time the pattern looked like this (the years around ~1917) it eventually led to WWII. So will we see a WWIII in the next 5-20 years?

1. Exercise daily.

2. Then choose Tony Robbins or David Goggins, and go deep.

I wrote an article, originally written for founders ==> but choosing one of these paths (whichever resonates most with you) will ABSOLUTELY transform your mindset, if you actually commit to it. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/should-i-start-startup-ask-on...

3. I also recommend a spiritual practice, if that calls to you at all. Most of all, sending you peaceful + warmth ==> hang in there, and you are not alone. Check out "The Untethered Soul" to start.

Great piece. Most MBAs learn this in b-school. This is wonderfully paired with this video (from Ray Dalio) --> which draws analogs to this process on the macro / country level https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xguam0TKMw8

Worth a quick (hilarious) read of the text of Deteriorata ;) https://web.archive.org/web/20150511234144/http://www.joke-a...

I've been wrestling with this recently as well, and found a great read re: OKRS versus a framework called OGSM.

It provides the metrics and strategies that OKRs are missing - and results in deeper thinking up front.

Here's a good read on this - https://medium.com/infinite-beta/ogsm-okr-8761dcb50e02

It's also easy to hit this goal with a treadmill desk ;)
