Looks like you need to preconfigure a "priority device" in the app, and then waving over the router at any given time reserves more bandwidth for that device for 2 hours.
We are getting one here in Naperville, IL. They put out a pretty decent video showing how it will work and what it will look like when they are all done.
There were three posts with the same news in the "new" section with appropriate headlines all before this post. I think it is more a failing on those up-voting the most catchy headline.
I'm not sure if it does or not. I did the same thing. Since the applications were so different, I figured I would fill out the general one on their website in addition to the one linked to from within the chrome dev build (I used the same Google account for both applications). I got my Cr-48 this morning, so it must not have counted against me too much.
Mine just showed up while reading this post! I didn't get any confirmation email. I applied using the prompt on the "new page" tab (running dev channel build) during the live OS launch. It came in a UPS truck 9:40am CST. Sweet!
My wife works for a large company that is in a similar situation. They are not a member of the BBB (thus not accredited) and there is one complaint on the BBB that was filed 3 years ago. This single complaint gives them a D- rating. A newly formed competitor of theirs, less than 2 years old, became a member of the BBB from the get go and is heavily promoting the fact that they have an A+ and the company my wife works for doesn't. The BBB wants approx $16,000 for them to become accredited. Unless they pay, they can't increase their rating to anything decent, even if they work with the BBB to resolve that single complaint from 3 years ago. It's pretty bogus.
