Traveling slowly for almost two years. I tried staying at least a week in each place and at least a month in each country. Stayed in some places like Peru for longer (9 months total).

We offer prescription-grade genetic testing and are aiming to make genetics a part of mainstream, medical practice. This year we're transitioning from seeing ourselves as a diagnostics company to seeing ourselves as a tech company and are hiring for a variety of roles:
We have several different groups that use a variety of languages and technologies. React, AWS, and Python are some of the popular ones. We have a great, dynamic culture where employees have ownership and are empowered to make decisions (very little middle management).

We currently have the most engineers of any genetic testing company and are looking to hire many more as we re-envision ourselves as a tech company. We have many exciting projects that are looking for more engineers:
I love that style. Does anyone know if there's anything similar for React/Redux? An alternative to using large boilerplates and having to customize it ...
I completely agree. If you use Instacart for cooking, even one substitution could make you have to go to the store again. And I find that a lot of Instacart shoppers have very little intuition/common sense about what are sensible substitutions.
I tried out Express because I would gladly pay the subscription fee if it worked. I ordered from Target a couple of times and the second time about a quarter of my order was substituted. And I go to Target enough to believe that most of these items were there. The shopper just didn't know where to look. In fact, I could see in real time that this shopper wasn't qualified. I wish there was a button that would've allowed me to abort and get a new shopper.
I can't imagine having to deal with this if I were preparing a recipe.
That's a really good point! No, I did not, although in hindsight I should have had thought about that. As I had mentioned in the README, the modeling perhaps is not very high quality, but I surely do hope to make it better once I get some free time. Thanks for your suggestion! Means a lot :-)
I feel like Food Delivery is a place where competition may actually have driven up prices for the consumers. I was gone from SF for two years and when I came back to the same neighborhood, I felt that food delivery became more expensive because of DoorDash, etc.
Places that used to not charge delivery fees now do, maybe because now they realized they could? Or because they have to compete for delivery people. Also, some apps now charge a 20% default tip. It is not rare to get three types of fees on top on one delivery order, even for something simple as a burrito.
Don't forget the price markups! If you compare prices on Doordash or Yelp vs restaurants' websites you'll often find that the prices themself are 10-20% higher.
I think one potential of Latin America is the time zone lines up better with North America. This might not matter, depending on what kind of business you're doing.
