I just went through some of the interactive tut. Was really good.

I'm in Australia too, and this didn't work. Was really looking forward to using it to store my music online to play anywhere.

Uploaded an mp3 manually and tried to play, but got the warning of being outside the US :(

This guy makes it like it's the end of the world, the end of photography... Oh no...

Instagram have made a great app, and can give anyone the chance to do something neat with their phone...

and become a hipster :)

Looks great, and can see it being used. Just tried it. Love Last.Fm, glad it has that integration. but it couldn't find the lyrics for last song i listened to: Rhinoceros by The Smashing Pumpkins

Good luck! Bookmarked!

I haven't had any issues yet. I have a 3G and it seems to be running great. I just have to update some apps that have an update in the app store and I should be right.

I thought this was about the movies. ha!

I'm glad we have a decent 3G network here in Australia with Telstra - i roughly get speeds of 3-4Mbps on their 3G network. It's great!

Shame that it is so ridiculously expensive, dur to Telstra not having to compete properly with other carriers. Tesltra should really have been broken up, into reatil and infrastructure, it is a big joke that it hasn't been, and all of Australia is the worse of, due to that fact.

That's pretty nice. Looking forward to seeing more from this.

I work within an ISP in Australia and have dealt with providing information to the Federal Police for investigations. I was under the impression that we already recorded that information. Looks like I was wrong.

Do your customers know they are being recorded like this?

We cannot view that information, only by an intersection order is that information is available.

In our TOS and Privacy Statements on our website, it does state that we keep connection logs.

Connection logs are not the same as logging every URL your customers request, am I correct?

Some ISPs do record that information but they are currently not required by law to do so.

Oh, maybe we do record the information then. As i'm pretty sure that I've sent that sort of information to the Fed Police before.

Anyway, I do support that that information is stored. And is used to investigate the right sort of crimes that do need to be investigated. And through the proper channels that the right people are requesting to look for that information.

Maybe because the other Loopt services were not put out there as much as Foursquare were when they launched down at sxsw.

The new Loopt service though does look alright. I don't like how you have to register through Facebook though, as the article explains. Looks like the app is only available in the US as of now.
