As a member of the video team you are keeping our video backend up to date by maintaining existing components and implementing improvements. There are lots of exciting topics on the horizon (UHD/HDR, low latency streaming, HTTP/2, content aware encoding, AV1, etc) which will be part of your work. You should bring your own ideas on how to further optimize the architecture and help extending the capabilities of our system every day. You should be curious about the inner works of video encoding and streaming and be able to think and operate at scale.
