This sounds like the biggest problem:

> The exams measure knowledge and understanding of physical, life, Earth and space sciences.

> In California, eighth-grade students are only taught in physical science, not in Earth or space sciences

It wouldn't surprise me if the science curriculum had to paired down due to schools having a finite amount of time with students, and choosing to spend that time focus on stuff that drives Reading and Math scores on testing like the NCLB.

I work on Google Voice. I put my email address in my profile. Send me your info, and I'll do what I can.

thanks for fixing it.

I use this and on the whole it's very reliable, however sometimes messages seem to get lost. Maybe if they're too long, it's not 100% clear to me.

I really liked this sentence: "It feels a lot like desktop Linux: unpolished, but covered in gloss."

When my friends try to get me to switch to Ubuntu I always have a hard time describing why I dont wanto. It's hard to pinpoint when looking at all the individual components of the Ubuntu desktop but this sentence really sums it up well.

On the flip side, I recently tested a full restart of 10.04 from Ubuntu desktop to Ubuntu desktop. took exactly 14 seconds. Incredible.

I always pronounced it poe-ster-ous and not pah-ster-ous. oops

Of course, It's completely counter-intuitive to pronounce it pah-ster-ous. Especially for an email to post blogging platform.

Your way makes more sense. You use it to post things and it isn't preposterous.

They need to fix the pronunciation.

I've always read it pah-steer-eee-us. I know that's wrong but the word has always looked like posterior to me. Fun service though.
