Then again, Harvard has a 53 billion dollar endowment so it probably wouldn't be necessary.

A good chunk of that is illiquid because it is capital invested in funds that may or may not be priced/valued accurately. And Harvard has $7-8B in outstanding debt. If there’s a severe recession or crisis, it’s not clear that Harvard will sail smoothly through it without some turbulence. Though i’m not implying they would sell some these priceless assets.

Korg Opsix can also load Dx7 patches, and has all six ops. And many waveforms beyond sine. And other weird shit you can use instead of an oscillator in an operator spot, like a comb filter and other things. Tons of fun.

I have one and agree wholeheartedly. The opsix makes FM fun and relatively easy. Excellent for sound design.

I also really like it, I have a bottle in the pantry.

The first time I had it (in Chicago of course), I asked the bartender what it tasted like before trying it as my friends had been building up how bad it was. She said, “It tastes like the day my Father left us.”

I have friends who make custom shirts with the Malört logo and the text “Malört: because fuck you.”

Try the Korg Opsix vst. I have the hardware, and the vst is the same. Great stuff!

GPT missed at least one:

Primer (2004) - Really good zero budget movie about the dangers of time-travel abuse.

But the Spanish Timecrimes is much better

Since I moved here in the mid 1990’s we now have added light rail to Golden, down to Lincoln on I-25, all the way up I225, and I70 from downtown to the airport. Not exactly nothing. Rail to Loveland/Ft Collins would be a great addition.

Sure, maybe a little more trackage around Denver, but don't you remember all the controversy how the space and money to run light rail along 36 went away and we wound up with just a new express lane in its place? Maybe Jared will actually get something done and they'll run light rail in tandem with the BNSF line from Denver all the way north, but I'm still really skeptical because I've heard "it's just 3-4 years out, we have a plan" for at least 15 years now.

Even tho I’ve heard nothing, light rail from 9mile to downtown Parker would be another great nice to have.

It is slow.

The airport lightrail is incredible, but the Golden one is useless unless you're going to court. Great example of politics getting in the way, since the lightrail only serves the government building which is miles away and very uphill from downtown Golden where people live and work.

Downloading 2gb of anything on my iPhone via wifi from my in-home gigabit fiber barely puts a dent in my battery life let alone much time.

The random ads in most phone games are much worse on my battery life.

Yeah it's a shame that mobile games are shit when console and PC gaming gets taken so serious by comparison. If you want to blame that on developers and not Apple's stupid-ass policies stopping you from emulating real games, be my guest. That's a take I'd love to hear.

Keep downloadin' those ads. This is what Apple wants from you, a helpless and docile revenue stream. Think Different or stay mad.

Blame? Simply saying downloading 2gb isn’t the power consumption hit you seem to think it is.

Not much of a gamer anyway, just an observation when I tried a couple apparently dodgy games.

Not sure why your reply wasn’t related to your original comment. Felt rather knee-jerk reactionary to me instead. Oh well.

Actually, the spotify rate is 0.003 cents per track, which reflects my 83 plays ‘earning’ $0.25 on Spotify before this.

The annoying thing is it is per track, not per album. This essentially demonetized all my bands albums since 1997 except for four tracks.

I would pull everything except 4 tracks off the platform then.

Spotify gets paid for that long tail, but you do not.
