I'm liking that idea. Anything that's not spent builds up nicely in the savings account. It's normal to save a set amount each month and whatever is left you just leave sitting in your current account. But that turns it on it's head, leaving any surplus in the savings account. And paying yourself a budget every week helps you manage the money.
I dabbled in Stripes a while back(moved job, now on Spring3), and I liked it as well. Lightweight and easy to use but lacked decent support and user traction. No reason it's not used more, and I don't know why either.
Ok, I agree, Apple is a great marketer, but what made them think up the first three points of Empathy, Focus and Impute that still drives the business in the first place?
Was it based on research or gut feeling?
