I bet this was really fun to work on.

Am I just daft or do I not see any sort of workflow described? Do I need to watch the video?

Upon digging, you're correct, though it seems I found more references to 2SV, but point taken.

I am staunchly of the 'don't allow my machines to remember anything' variety, so likely not. If this 'remembering' is flagged in an app default, I'd be happy to clear it out and re-test.

I went to retrieve the 2SA/V code, and when attempting to switch back to the dialog, it failed/crashed to the launcher. The dialog was still present in the application switcher, but repeatedly failed. But directly starting gmail bypassed the auth request and logged me in.

Have you used other compensating mechanisms, like tap-to-show images?

Why should I take the extra effort to make publisher's poor websites usable when something like AMP does it out of the box? I don't really have any ideological objections to Googleplex which would warrant such extra effort.

not exactly the same thing, right? js environment also matters a lot.

Not only are these not dongles, most people have never seen a dongle.

Huh, you make a good point. I'd forgotten about the days of USB dongles that do nothing but act as challenge-response devices for audio software DRM. Which makes me wonder, will all those now-legacy iLok USB-A DRM dongles still work with the USB-C to USB-A cables? Or will the iLok DRM detect the cables as a man-in-the-middle cracking attempt?

Nor does Youtube have any tubes.

Words change, but technical jargon changes faster than most.

dongle: "a small device that plugs into a computer and serves as an adapter or as a security measure to enable the use of certain software" http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/dongle

It sounds like you're using a different definition of "dongle" than most people?

Dongle was originally a thing that you plugged into a computer that allowed it to execute expensive licensed software like PRO/Engineer or Softimage.

This is on Codeswitch - their blog by PoC for PoC issues.

It's about the fact that the platform was disproportionately populated and loved by young creative Black and Latinx people.

Why do I post.

Develop mode definitely hits your raws. I just switched from SSD(1)-boot/SSD(2)-cache/HDD(1)-raws to full SSD and the difference was substantial.

This looks like an amazing experience, I'm just worried about performance in my workflow. That said, the future is bright.

I carried a G1 with two spare batteries when doing documentary work. It was lovely. I didn't have to hunt for outlets or deal with using the phone while plugged into a battery pack.

If the phone is a widely used model, it's often not difficult to find new-old stock for a while.

I gave this list of "not cares" a several year window of context. It's pretty obvious OP doesn't want a bag-phone, but might be perfectly happy with the form factor of an iphone 4/5. Not a novel complaint.

Did you tape those batteries to your phone? How did you carry them with you all the time?

The invention is called "pocket" and/or "bag". I think the patents have expired though...

You can buy a portable charger, not as convenient but also designed for carrying around unlike batteries (honestly carrying around an unprecedented fully charged battery in pockets (bag or clothes) sounds dangerous)

It's not quite like E-cig users and their naked 18650 cells.

No more dangerous than keeping your phone in your pocket or bag.

How many DNS services ala Dyn exist? Is it not still massively significant that a successful attack can be launched on even one of these?

On-screen controls will always be substandard. It's confusing, because every company should know what works, based on about 30 years of iterative design changes. Yet here we are, adapting the rotating mode dial into a digital interface. You will not grok this camera.

Things that would get my attention: Hardware slider that can be mapped to ISO/aperture/shutter speed, ideally dynamically. Hardware AF/MF switch, and AE/AF lock options. Focus peaking.
