I don't really agree overall. Yes I understand a "two pizzas" team isn't perfect and does introduce new problems comparatively to whats its replacing, but when you look at the alternative which you call the "Autonomous team mission" you have a even worse set of problems.

I'm imagining a dozen tiger teams all with write access to all the code repos, all with potentially non-aligned goals. That sounds like chaos to me.
