Those legitimate arguments are themselves not in in the context of IT, though. They lie in the intersection of word semantics, etymology and the racial politics of the extreme left.
Yes which is why this won't ever happen. It should just be illegal to wholly terminate an account. If someone is breaking ToS, ban them from doing the ToS breaking thing like posting or commenting. No reason to terminate the entire account.
This is, in general, Valve's approach with Steam users. A user cheats on servers using Valve Anti-Cheat? Banned from all of those servers, but not from the games themselves. A user spams heinous garbage in the forums? Banned from posting in the forums. I think one of the only things that will actually get an entire account disabled is charging back a purchase.
> If I go to thing W, X, Y, and Z (where those are distinct elements with distinct fans), people within those cohorts will be indistinguishable but I will likely be the only person who has been to all 4. Therefore, you can easily identify individuals. FLoC is a crock of shit. At least you could block 3rd party cookies
America is definitely different from most countries I would not say exceptional though. They still have no healthcare for people who aren't rich, daily mass shootings, and the politicians are just plain corrupt (and retarded).
It is awesome if you are rich, which I am now, but man it sucked when I was poor.
Well not caring about prices for one. I don't look at price tags for every day things, I just buy them. Healthcare is much easier as you get more access and can just pay for better doctors. For example, my psychiatrist is 700/hr compared to a shitty insurance accepting psych. Mental health on insurance in general is terrible.
Just in general, life is easy when you have money. Its not the case in other countries because they are more equal, so in that respect America is exceptional. Really sucks for everyone else though
"Hi, I'm extremely insecure with myself and need to validate my beliefs by trying to bait people on the internet. Since I don't personally know anyone who died from Covid that wasn't fat, obviously it is a hoax and won't affect me so I won't be getting a vaccine because I don't believe in science."
This is a great idea and I would encourage EVERYONE to do this. Please try to push people to privacy respecting browsers like Safari or Firefox. The fewer people use chrome/chromium, and google products in general, the better.
Pycharm is fucking slow and it is really annoying to use different IDEs for different languages. vscode is better in every way, and free. I just don't understand why people use jetbrains anymore.
