It takes 5 years on average til you can harvest some grapes. 10 years for generating profit sounds about right.

Are not governments of member states in control of Council?

Council is shadow government by elites.

What does that mean? I thought that commissioners were nominated by governments of member states. Similarly like they nominate ministers inside those states.

I saw birch forest at Svalbard. Was about 2cm tall.

Btw there is also Dominator: https://github.com/Pauan/rust-dominator

What else was proclaimed just to raise VC money?

Something with several layers? Old town, New town and space between.

Also with a prohibitively expensive license fee.

Same for me with boats in Oslo (but less than 10 years).

Optimal temperature for yeast in general is between 25-30C, for grape wine optimal fermentation is usually between 15-20C (white) 20-25C (red).

So 35C is interesting. 350 would be too much even if it was Kelvin.

Kveik beer yeast often works well far above 35C. Some reportedly tolerate into low 40s.

I don’t know of other yeasts that can do this though.

I was going to say, just throw some kiveik in it. That stuff is practically fool-proof

I remember seeing everyone with iPhone >10 years ago in Norway. Then it dropped - it was pretty visible that is why I remember. Haven't been paying attention about last ~4 years.

Curated corner of Mastodon. Open-source projects use Zulip/Discord/Matrix as forums so I go there as well. Others like sub-Reddits, HN or blogs I access mostly through RSS feeds. (With occasional exceptions like now.)

For surface-level information/news there is huge overlap in those places. Many duplicates. My 2025 resolution is to be less online.

I used to be on Instagram around 2010 till Facebook bought it and changed it from community to influencers-infested algorithms and ads - I have no time for that.
