This sounds like the beginning of a Horror movie, but also colors me hopeful for a future where people born with my mothers disease (SCA) will have some kind of cure to halt or revert the loss of brain tissue ?

I don't think I've seen a desktop with a dvd reader in years. I couldn't even install one in mine if I wanted to, it's all just fans on the front.

I've been in Luxembourg many times on our way from Belgium to France or Germany, but only last year I visited it for the first time. We did one of the Mullertal trails in 3 days and it's an absolutely beautiful little country.

The issue with freeform is it's tied to the apple ecosystem.
