I am an ATT user and on a pixel which generally good at filtering spam messages. I have noticed I was getting so much spam messages recently ("wanna make money working remotely for x hours a day only") I was surprised and thought my number somehow made it to one of those spam networks. This confirms my suspicions.

Link?

I wonder why not to publish it on Google Play?

Very much this. I really want Linux to prevail but Apple is just too hard to beat at this point with so I just cave in. Don't get me wrong, I use Linux on a X1 Carbon Lenovo and I love it, I think it's the only OS I feel fast and have total control and but unfortunately Apple hardware and software has come a long way because of its totalitarian regime and it shows. It just works.

Where is the tool that we can try?

context size is still going to be an issue when history gets large, correct?

It is normal these days to have login with buttons BEFORE the subscription info? I mean I wouldn't even try to download if I knew there was a monthly subscription fee. Thanks

Right? I felt like it was some kind of trick to at least get your email before showing you the app actually is a subscription only app.

100% this. I don't really care about the whole bubble thing. I just though oh cool, let me try this and find some iphone user to see if it works. Downloaded, auth'd my google account which was the only option which is not right either... and then bam, paywall. Yes it does say it costs $1.99/mo almost at the bottom of the linked page, but I 100% would not have downloaded this if I knew that up front. And absolutely would not have auth'd my google account.

There 100% should be a message BEFORE logging in that has the pricing. And allow for actual email signups too, not google or any other 3rd party logins.

yes but it's closed source, no?

You cannot edit much on a virtual keyboard imo. That's where BlackBerry and sidekick excelled but and touch screens would always be subpar. It's a tradeoff.

Never heard of tailscale before. Is it similar to Plex?

Nope, it's a tool for building a private network among machines which can be geographically and internetically distributed. So, more or less a VPN, but not particularly in the sense that people use it today (which is effectively a glorified proxy server).

I disagree. In my experience of having both of these for a number of years I never had to replace a USB-C cable because it was broken. I had to replace the lighting cable more than I can count.
