I think this may have been inspired by “Thomas Gon’ Give It To Ya” which came out two years earlier: https://youtu.be/xFSwIw-_-as
Pretty sure this one inspired a whole bunch of rap songs mixed with the Thomas theme song. They all sound pretty good but still think this one is the best
Maybe it is fear mongering, but the points raised are valid issues mainly caused by the American health care system. In Japan where I live, drugs that Americans are used to getting over the counter like Tylenol are prescription and no one thinks twice about going to the doctor for the most minor ailment. Obviously the US is the complete opposite of this. The American health care system does have systemic issues that MAY make the coronovirus worse there. I don't think the author is doing anyone a disservice by pointing that out.
Spot on, the 10,000 free limit is much more limiting than many people think. I've seen very small businesses of even 3-4 people lose tons of institutional knowledge just because they wouldn't pay for slack. With larger tech groups you can start losing information after a few days. And the larger the group the less likely they will pay for it. I like the UI of Slack but am happy when I see tech groups using Discord instead.
Along similar lines some of the best services and products I have experience in Japan have been from organizations and companies that declare themselves as communist. One example, the best child daycare in my Japanese city (in my opinion) was a communist one that emphasized nature, community, and healthy child development. Also, the best food delivery service (in terms of food quality and the difference is quite noticeable) in my city is one that called themselves communist as well.
Indeed, I don't even know any Japanese people that use the kana keys. I don't know the recent data but in 2009 there was a study that found only 12% of Japanese people used kana input.
Something that is disappointing about these keycaps is that they mostly only make these for US keyboard layouts not actual Japanese keyboard layouts. I have a Japanese keyboard that the keys were getting worn on and something like this seems like it would be a good replacement but it isn't because several of the keys that aren't letters such as shift characters on numbers and other special characters are labeled wrong for a real Japanese keyboard.
There are some Japanese layout replacement keycaps but the selection is very limited compared to how many of these stylistic kana keycaps they make for US layouts. I cringe a little bit every time I see these keycaps. I mean I get it, but still.
Recently replaced my 2012 MBA battery, the batteries are quite cheap and the replacement is surprisingly quick and easy on this model. About a five minute job, you can buy the battery with the needed tools here: https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Mac/MacBook-Air-13-Inch-Late-20...
To add to this, the bad software support had very real performance implications as well. I was surprised to see benchmarks where the Pi 3 dominated boards that very clearly beat it on paper
? They do that in my Japanese town of Kumagaya but that is for the kids to go home because it is getting dark. It changes to 4 or 5pm depending on the time of year. Are you sure that music is to remind adults that it is time to go home?
I dunno, they did it in hachioji when I lived there several years back. I remember it being at 6 and I remember my coworkers telling me that was the reason for it but I could be mistaken.
