I have been noticing my time towards podcasts and videos have been increasing and books decreasing.

However very proud of my dedicated bookcase towards an entire collection of billionaire books that I enjoy re-reading and strategically place by my desk so I can see them everyday as I work.

Have you seen the YCombinator booklist that just came out?google yc booklists for multiple years.

Besides those, How to fail at almost everything and still win big (scott adams) for chapter 23 about affirmations was a life changer for me - awesome.

Ask and it is Given by ester and jerry hicks.

Never split the difference by top FBI hostage negotiator. Chris Voss

Looking forward to Tim Ferris book which is compiled from his podcast interviews.

In podcasting the fun for me has been in connecting my guests together and seeing partnerships and businesses kick up from those introductions. I just use Linkedin to cold email people doing interesting things in the tech world. Don't be afraid to ask!

In China the risk of automation is as high as 77%.

China's middle class is actually growing though, whereas it's static or shrinking in most western countries.

Those those observations are not mutually exclusive.

Challenges we need to solve for Deep Space Travel, like pressure in the eyes which makes astronauts lose vision. More on the Space Race and astroid & water mining.

I just did a podcast with Kira Blackwell from NASA's CTO's office to announce their iTech competition and they are down to their top 10 finalists. Top 3 are announced in December. I have had a demo one of the products and it is a game changer on earth as well. Bob Lindberg would be a good one, he was president of NIA for 10 years now involved with Moon Express first company to get FAA approval to leave earths orbit.

Peter Thiel was hinted to be a guest on the YC podcast so can't wait to hear from him. I hope they focus the time to extract his vision of the future vs. his past. His book is already great for those theories so I am interested to hear what he is working on for his next chapter. Can someone ask if he is going to run for president?

I always get a kick out of founders stories of extreme examples of being relentlessly resourceful.

I have enjoyed making tech podcast especially for the 20-30 minute commute. They are fun and informative with a kick of inspiration and have been a side project to help me network with cool people in the tech space. So far I have had on the show Grammy & Emmy award winning talent, space experts, angel investors, Billionaires, AI, AR and VR leaders and a few new YC founders to boot.

Had to share this because I just did a podcast with Scaphold.io the YC startup working with GraphQL As A Service.

Re:Alternatives - was just talking about this with Billionaire founder of MoonExpress which just the first private company to receive FAA clearance to harvest some the moon (Moon Express). Sounds like he plans on bringing some back for rings and making it a thing to not just have a honeymoon but to give your honey the moon.

There are some good alternative ideas. At a point in my life I was learning 3D modeling and planning to have a ring printed by Shapeways.

The moon rock is a cool idea, but unless the couple met while working at NASA I don't see the significance.
